Outreach - Volunteer Opportunites!
SWE Outreach programs inspire the next generation of women engineers and technologists. We engage young girls in the possibilities of this rewarding career path with inspiring workshops and interaction with SWE role models.
South Ohio SWE participates in many outreach events each year to support this goal
Our section hosts Collegiate Mentoring, Girl Scout, Eweek & High School Outreach events as well as providing support and advertising for outreach events hosted by other organizations. We inspire students (girls AND boys) to see engineering and technical careers as a desirable.
All volunteers and staff interacting with youth must complete the SWE Youth Protection training course in accordance with SWE policy.
