Susan Toher
Susan currently serves on the programs committee as our craft night chair
Susan, who has been knitting for over 20 years, currently loves to knit and wear cardigans and socks, but she started out making a lot of rectangles (scarves and blankets.) She has knitted 25 sweaters, plus dozens of hats, scarves, socks, and mittens. With her BS in Industrial Engineering and MS in Management, Susan has held senior leadership positions at Caterpillar in Product Development, Manufacturing/Operations, and Supply Chain. Her current role is supporting engineering early talent recruiting. She joined SWE in 2013 looking to expand her network when she moved to a new city, and she found an active and welcoming community in the Central Illinois section. When Susan moved to Dayton in 2023 and transferred to the SOSWE section, she again found an engaging community of talented women.

Endia Santee
Dr. Endia Crabtree is a Principal Clinical Product Risk Scientist at Boston Scientific where she
leads the comprehensive evaluation of clinical benefits, risks, and performance profiles for
European Union Medical Device Regulation Class II-III medical technologies. She earned a
Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, an M.L.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and both an
M.S. and B.A. from the University of Michigan-Flint. She completed postdoctoral fellowships in
cancer survivorship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the University of
Cincinnati Cancer Institute. In her free time, she enjoys fossil hunting, reading, and spending
time with her husband and Lilly, her hilarious bearded dragon.
