Outreach Chair
Meg Draeger
Meg Draeger is an industrial engineer turned informal STEM educator, and has worked in K12 STEM education in the Dayton region since 1999. Growing up, she loved math more than science, loved to read, did not enjoy taking apart toasters, and was encouraged by teachers, older siblings, and parents to pursue an engineering degree. She is amazed by the many diverse examples of STEM all around us, and thrives on building and maintaining relationships among educators, students, parents, and STEM professionals.
Membership Chair
Maria Roma
Maria Roma-Hossain received her bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. She relocated to Cincinnati in 2020, and she now works as a Systems Engineer at Mammotome. She has been involved with the steering committee for Mammotome’s Women in Engineering Associate Resource Group (ARG) since its formation in 2021, and the group has grown from 5 to over 30 members. She has also been involved with South Ohio SWE as Secretary in FY24. Outside of work, Maria loves to run with local running groups, take walks and explore breweries with her husband and two dogs, and try new recipes!
Communications Chair
Rebekah Bolzman
Rebekah Bolzman is the communications chair of the South Ohio SWE section. She began working for DOW Chemical in 2023 as a Software Developer.
She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in Technical Writing. Currently she is attending the University of Washington to receive her Master of Information Management. Outside of work she loves running and playing board games with her family.
Marketing Chair
Anna Kamphaus
Anna Kamphaus is the Marketing Chair of the South Ohio SWE section. Anna is a simulation engineering professional who currently works as Director of Simulation at SimWell Inc, an advanced analytics company specializing in the deployment of simulation, optimization and digital twin solutions for some of the world’s largest companies. She enjoys empowering decision-makers through advanced analytics and simulation.
Anna holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University and a B.S. in Mathematics from Western Carolina University. Prior to Industrial Engineering, she taught high school mathematics in North Carolina. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, learning new skills, camping and fiber arts.
Partnership Chair
Srujana Padakanti
Srujana Padakanti is a Mechanical Engineer at a manufacturing firm, with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. As a cross-functional engineer, she works collaboratively across departments to streamline processes, solve complex challenges, and deliver successful project outcomes.
She is actively involved in the South Ohio SWE section, currently serving as both the Book Club Chair and the Partnership Chair.
Outside of work, Srujana is an avid traveler, a voracious reader, and enjoys exploring her creative side through various arts and crafts projects. A firm believer in lifelong learning, she is always exploring new interests and skills.
